Calvary Baptist Sunday School Classes

Sunday School for all ages begins each Sunday morning at 9:30 am

Our goal at Calvary is to teach the message of Jesus Christ in ways that a child can understand and to assist parents in furthering their child’s exposure to Biblical teachings that are relevant to them. Sunday School classes are a great way to get to know other people and to be challenged to learn more about issues that matter to our everyday lives from a Godly perspective.

Calvary’s Sunday School Superintendent strives to achieve seven critical mission objectives in directing the church’s Sunday School curriculum.
  1. To provide Christian education opportunities for spiritual growth to all who seek knowledge
  2. To cultivate new leaders to be witnesses for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
  3. To start new classes specific to our congregation’s needs as membership grows
  4. To draw individuals into a relationship with the Lord and challenge them to grow as believers through life-changing Bible studies by teachers who are Christ-centered and people oriented.
  5. To encourage personal relationships and fellowships among members and guests who desire a deeper walk with the Lord
  6. To encourage class members to reach out to their communities with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  7. To encourage leaders to make members and guest feel welcome and important to the class by following the Lord’s example of practicing love and care.

We are dedicated to providing a loving, safe, sanitary Christian environment for our children.  We believe that parents serve as children’s foremost teachers, and we want to partner with parents to communicate God’s love and acceptance.  Our goal is for parents to know their children are being competently and lovingly cared for, so that they may attend Sunday school, worship and serve God without distraction.

Who:  Birth through 3 years old;  Calvary’s Nursery is a loving and peaceful environment designed to care for your children.  We recommend parents bring a diaper bag and bottle.  You will also want to bring a change of clothes for your child just in case it is needed.
When:  Calvary’s Nursery is normally available during Sunday School and every worship service.
