Come Serve With Us

Be part of a Christian ministry and help carry forth Christ's mission in the world.

Music

The Calvary Baptist Music Ministry choir, musicians, and special music are to enhance the worship experience and to bless the congregation through praise and worship.

Our church is blessed with many wonderful musicians.

The Sanctuary Choir consists of anyone in the 7th grade and up.

If you have any questions you may contact Church Staff at 903-389-2613.

Youth more...

Calvary Baptist Student Ministries -  CBSM desires for our students to Know Christ, Own their faith, and make Him Known.

Wednesday nights at CBSM are developed specifically with the needs of our students in mind!  New students are welcomed, and weekly attendees make them feel right at home!  We believe that a mid-week service is very important to the spiritual growth of our students.  CBSM offers students a time during the week to slow down and focus on God.

Grades 7th thru 12th meets in the Youth Room, upstairs in the Family Life Center.

Be sure to join us Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. for CBSM.  Come early and enjoy snacks and drinks with us.

Contacts: Samuel Mullen, Jacob Ramsey, Youth Advisory Board

Children more...

Calvary offers a safe environment for children to enjoy and learn as they grow in God's word.

Some of the programs offered are Sunday School, Sunday Evening Auxiliaries, CBSM Kids, and Nursery.

Contacts:  Mary King, Becca Thaler, Randie Skinner

Nursery more...

We are dedicated to providing a loving, safe, sanitary Christian environment for our children.  We believe that parents serve as children’s foremost teachers, and we want to partner with parents to communicate God’s love and acceptance.  Our goal is for parents to know their children are being competently and lovingly cared for, so that they may attend Sunday school, worship and serve God without distraction.

Calvary’s Nursery is a loving and peaceful environment designed to care for children birth through 3 years old.  We recommend parents bring a diaper bag and bottle.  You will also want to bring a change of clothes for your child just in case it is needed.

Calvary’s Nursery is normally available during Sunday School and every worship service.

Contacts: Amie Mullen, Trisha Wren

Sunday School  more...

Our goal at Calvary is to teach the message of Jesus Christ in ways that a child can understand and to assist parents in furthering their child’s exposure to Biblical teachings that are relevant to them. Sunday School classes are a great way to get to know other people and to be challenged to learn more about issues that matter to our everyday lives from a Godly perspective.

Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:30 am each Sunday morning.

Not Forgotten Lay-People

Our NFL ministry is a tremendous blessing to so many people that are unable to attend our church for different health reasons.  A group of individuals that are involved in this ministry meet every Thursday morning and go visit our home-bound members that are unable to attend.  Sunday School books and DVD's of the service are taken to these individuals so that they can enjoy our services even though they are unable to attend.

If you would like to be involved in this ministry, would like to add someone to our visitation list, or know of someone who would enjoy a sermon DVD delivered weekly, please contact the church office at 903-389-2613.

Safe and Secure

The primary purpose of the Safe and Secure team is to maintain a peaceful, safe environment which is conducive to teaching, learning, working, living, and sharing in the word of our Lord and Savior.

The team will provide a safe place to worship, remove fear from the minds of the members and visitors who attend, provide physical security of the building and its contents, and protect financial assets of the church.

Trained team members will be available to assist with any unforeseen accidents or medical emergencies that may occur on church property.
